  • Activities & Interests: I love art – any kind of art works. Drawing, painting, sketching, I love them all. I’ve sung in choirs my whole life and I love listening to music.
  • Factoid: I was married at 23, and my first child at 24, and I was born with 12 fingers!

Lori Patton has enjoyed working with youth in an educational and community based settings since she was in high school. She enjoys adapting to each student’s need and understands each student has to find his/her best learning strategy.

Lori began her work with youth as a mentor to help other students transition into high school. She has also spent many years learning and teaching students about community service issues. After college, Lori moved been back to the Bay Area and now works in the special education department at an elementary school in the Palo Alto Unified School District. While working at PAUSD she has expanded her experience working with students with learning differences. A great strength of Lori’s is her creativity in adapting curriculum and technology to help students practice their academic skills.
